What is proper nutrition?

Good nutrition plays an important role in our lives. It can help guard against malnutrition and help prevent diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and cancer. Unfortunately, with our busy lives, a diet consisting largely of saturated fat, trans fat, sugar and sodium is all too common. We should instead be consuming healthy choices such as lean proteins, whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. The food we put into our bodies reflects onto our health. Supplementation is critical to bridge the gap between the nutrients we receive from our daily food to the number of nutrients needed to have enough energy to get us through our busy days.

What Exactly is a Whole Food Supplement?

Whole food-based supplements generally include foods that are prepared in a way that safeguards their nutritional value. The great majority of these ingredients are grown locally on Standard Process’® certified organic farm located near Palmyra, WI, including alfalfa, barley grass, beets, Brussels sprouts, buckwheat, kale, kidney beans, oats, pea vine, and Spanish black radish. This allows us to control the quality of these ingredients from seed to supplement. Individual components may require chopping, dicing, juicing,

and/or drying.
